Agency hits duct manufacturer with large fines, publicizes case

OSHA alleges that a Pennsylvania duct manufacturer has repeatedly ignored OSHA requirements, leading to dozens of injuries, and slapped the company with $822,000 in proposed fines and entered it into the Severe Violator Enforcement Program, actions which prompted the Labor Department to generate publicity regarding the case.
