OSHA touts VPP 'success stories'

OSHA is making a point of crediting participants in Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) that demonstrate what the agency considers exemplary and highly effective safety and health programs at their work sites. The publicity effort comes as OSHA continues to struggle under resource constraints to balance cooperative programs such as VPP with enforcement priorities ( see related story ).
