Senate Panel Delays Vote On OSHA Nominee, Frustrating Former Official

The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) has postponed until next week a scheduled Jan. 11 vote to consider several Labor Department nominees, including Scott Mugno, the Trump administration's nominee to lead OSHA. The vote was postponed due to a scheduling conflict and a new date and location for the vote have not been set, but Senate staffers say they expect the vote to be rescheduled for next week.
