OMB Clears Industry-Sought OSHA Standards For Trucks, ‘Lockout’ Rule

The White House has approved two Labor Department (DOL) proposals sought by industry, including an update to an OSHA standard on powered industrial trucks and another that eases OSHA’s lockout/tagout safety standards that applies to power equipment that shuts off during repair work. Both pre-rules cleared the White House Office of Management and Budget March 6, according to its website.
