Pruitt Resigns Amid Ethics Scandals, Wheeler To Become Acting EPA Chief

Scott Pruitt has resigned as EPA administrator following a long series of ethics and spending scandals, leaving Deputy Administrator Andrew Wheeler to step into the role of acting administrator, President Donald Trump announced July 5.
