OSHA Sends Health Care Whistleblower Protection Rule For OMB Review

OSHA has sent for White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) review a draft final rule instituting new procedures for investigating complaints of retaliation against whistleblowers in the health care sector, a responsibility the 2010 Affordable Care Act (ACA) delegated to the agency. The new “Procedures for the Handling of Retaliation Complaints Under Section 1558 of the Affordable Care Act of 2010” will govern how OSHA will handle and investigate retaliation complaints from whistleblowers in the health care sector...
